Saltleaf Marina Taking Shape on Estero Bay as Construction Forges Ahead
The 72-slip public marina will provide thoughtful new access to Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.
NAPLES, Fla. ─ Prominent Southwest Florida developer and project visionary London Bay Development Group announced the latest milestone regarding the construction of Saltleaf Marina, noting the continuing development of the 500-acre coastal village of Saltleaf on Estero Bay. Featuring 72 slips and a five-star waterfront restaurant open to the public, the brand-new, world-class marina will serve as an invaluable amenity for residents of Saltleaf and the community at large.
The marina's basin has been dredged to completion, and the seawalls are now finished, signifying the start of more visible construction soon to begin above water. Set to create a new sense of place and inspire a connection between people and the natural surroundings, the master-planned community is distinguished by its unique location on one of Southwest Florida’s last great stretches of waterfront, enjoying nearly a mile of frontage on the state’s oldest aquatic preserve. Upon its full vision, the destination will be home to Saltleaf Golf Preserve, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay, miles of nature trails, and other residential offerings.
Saltleaf Marina will accommodate 72 slips for vessels up to 30 feet in length, along with various launch points for kayaks and paddleboards, offering thoughtful new access to Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Its prime waterfront location will also provide owners of The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay the convenience of enjoying surrounding coastal experiences directly adjacent to the five-acre luxury property.
“Saltleaf Marina will be a unique launch point for our community, with new marinas being a rarity in today’s marketplace,” said Mark Wilson, CEO of London Bay Development Group. “It is one of many ways the community will enjoy the magnificent shoreline and countless attributes that make Saltleaf unlike any other Southwest Florida destination.”
Since commencing in the summer of 2022, monumental strides have been made in delivering this unique coastal community to both the public and future residents. While Saltleaf Marina is slated for delivery in early 2026 in conjunction with the neighboring Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay, Saltleaf Golf Preserve underwent a complete renovation and officially opened its doors to the public in December 2023.
Upon its completion, the village of Saltleaf will present a new confluence of home and town where neighborhood trails lead to beautiful destinations to explore nearby activities. Only 20 minutes from Southwest Florida International Airport, it is in a priceless location near the friendly town of Bonita Springs, with its sugar-white sand beaches, boutiques, galleries and restaurants, and a short drive from Naples.
